To those of you who are just now discovering me now, I'm not new to the scene; I started performing professionally as a member of "SHANAKIE" recording group "RARA MACHINE" in the early nineties and have had the privilege to perform on many notable stages around the world alongside bandmates Jephte Guillaume, Chico Boyer, Bonga, Ricardo Franck(Ti Plume)and band leader Clifford Sylvain just to name a few...
After the birth of my daughther Clishea in the mid-nineties, I became a nurse but my love for the arts could not keep me away...I worked as a TV hostess in the NY area, Co-wrote and co-directed "Meli-melo" one of the first haitian sitcoms....and managed to publish two solo CDs(so far), "Kouray" and "Afrika".
I'm now back!!! with something new and exciting...A musical movie entitled : "Madame ou mademoiselle?" Yes! "Madame ou mademoiselle?"...The story, the music, the intrigue... Exciting indeed and it's coming SOON!!!
I really appreciate the love and support from many of you. I am very grateful and I thank the Lord for all...
I am deeply honored to accept your request. I have been following your career since rara machine and always wondered how you are doing lately. It's good to see you back on the scene.
Hi Sheila, I'm still playing music when I have a chance. But, I think New York is the best place for an artist. Florida is dead. I'm thinking to move to another state where there is a night life. I hope you sill singing because, you have a nice voice. Will keep contact.
